On 18th December 2015 at the Esplanade Recital Studio, Kris Foundation presented Beyond Borders with pianist Miyuki washimiya, violinist Andrew Ng and cellist James Ng. 2015 marked the 50th year of Singapore’s independence as well as Kris Foundation’s 5th anniversary. We were delighted to have Japanese pianist Miyuki Washimiya back in Singapore performing with us.
Violinist Andrew Ng graduated from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore and Sibelius Academy in Finland. He has performed across the globe including Festival Bled in Slovenia and Verbier Festival Switzerland.
Cellist James Ng is one of the founding members of Singapore’s premier cello quartet, Bossa Celli and a graduate of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore. James enjoys a career as a sought-after freelance cellist in Singapore and Malaysia.
