Kris Foundation has presented a series of salon concerts taking place at Kris Tan’s home in the East of Singapore. These concerts are inspired by those in 19th century Europe salon concerts - a small gathering of friends, centered around light piano music.

“These concerts allow us to have an opportunity to inspire the young, our students and people in the audience who come to appreciate art more, and how enjoyable and meaningful art is.”
— Dr. Azariah Tan, Concert Pianist

Salon Series (2020) featured established Singaporean pianist Dr. Azariah Tan as well as music aficionado and family physician Dr. Chang Tou Liang. They performed an enjoyable programme of short pieces by Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy, Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann.

Two Years On! (2017) was a performance platform for second-year undergraduate music students at King’s College London. Our audience listened to six young Singaporeans perform a delightful programme including works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmanino , Johannes Brahms, Maurice Ravel, Frederic Chopin, Paul Hindemith, York Bowen, Georg Frederic Handel, Joseph Lim and Felix Mendelssohn.

An Afternoon of Wanderlust (2015) was specially curated around the compositions of young Singaporean composer Lim Kang Ning (b.1994) - Tango Del Inferno, 花影, Four Seasons, Regrets and an arrangement of The Phantom of the Opera medley.
