To ensure as much of our resources go towards the Foundation’s activities, we operate on a small team.
Ms Kris Tan, Founder
As the founder of Kris Foundation, Ms Kris Tan shapes and approves the Foundation’s strategies and vision. She advocates for the Foundation’s mission, sets the overall direction and ensures long-term sustainability.
A passionate music lover and full-time arts patron, Ms Kris Tan is highly invested in the development of Singapore’s young classical musicians and music composers, and personally curates each Kris Foundation concert.
Ms Laura Peh, general manager
Laura Peh oversees and leads all the Foundation’s efforts, including conceptualising and spearheading special initiatives. She helps to guide the Founder’s vision, makes recommendations on strategic growth, reviews project impact and evaluates sponsorship requests.
Laura has lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris and London. Her experience includes non-profit and commercial organisations, SMEs and MNCs in the philanthropy and arts sectors. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Royal College of Music, London and Masters in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London.
The Community Foundation of Singapore
The Community Foundation of Singapore encourages and enables philanthropy in Singapore by bridging donors with charitable organisations to develop programmes and give out grants that support various causes. As a philanthropic intermediary, CFS manages the Kris Foundation Fund and acts as an advisor and grant administrator to Kris Foundation.
CFS is a registered charity with Institution of Public Character status.
